At ArNas, we value our customers and strive to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience. This Return & Refund Policy sets out the terms and conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds are accepted for purchases made on our platform. It applies to both physical and digital books and is subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Scope and Definitions

This Policy governs the return and refund process for all purchases of books made on the Platform. “Physical Books” include printed books in hardcover or paperback form. A “Buyer” is any person who purchases from the Platform, and “We,” “Us,” or “Platform” refer to ArNas and its authorized sellers.

2. Eligibility for Returns and Refunds

Physical books may be returned and refunded or exchanged subject to the conditions outlined herein. Digital content, such as eBooks, is generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, except in limited circumstances such as technical failure, duplicate billing, or where required by law.

3. Timeframes for Returns

No returns or refunds shall be accepted except in cases where the Customer establishes, with satisfactory evidence, that an incorrect product was delivered. Returns or cancellations will not be permitted for reasons of change of mind, preference, or any reason other than delivery of an incorrect product.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are not eligible for return. These include customized or personalized books, collectible or limited-edition items marked as “final sale,” and books that show signs of use, damage, or removal of original packaging. Digital content is non-returnable once accessed or downloaded, unless a technical failure occurs on our part.

5. Return Process for Physical Books

To initiate a return, buyers must log into their account, locate the relevant order, and request a return or contact Customer Support at contact@tryarnas.com. Upon approval, we will issue a Return Authorization (RA) along with shipping instructions. The book must be packed securely with the invoice and RA number. The Platform does not accept change-of-mind returns. Returns will be permitted only where the Customer provides evidence that an incorrect product has been delivered. In such cases, the Platform shall arrange for the return shipping or reimburse the Customer for reasonable shipping costs. Upon receipt of the returned product, our team will inspect it within seven (7) business days, following which a replacement or refund, as applicable, will be issued.

6. Refund Method and Timeline

Refunds will generally be processed through the original mode of payment within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days after approval. For cash on delivery (COD) orders, refunds may be provided through bank transfer or store credit. Refund timelines may vary depending on banks or payment service providers, and we will not be liable for such delays.

7. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

In cases where the delivered book is damaged, defective, or incorrect, buyers must notify us within Seven (7) calendar days of delivery and provide supporting evidence such as photographs. The Platform may, at its discretion, offer a replacement, a full refund (including shipping), or store credit. We may also request the return of the damaged or incorrect item for verification.

8.  No Exchanges

Exchanges will not be permitted under any circumstances. Customers are only eligible for a refund in cases where an incorrect product has been delivered, subject to verification by the Platform.

9. Return Shipping Costs

For change-of-mind returns, buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs, unless we provide a prepaid return label. For defective or incorrect items, we will either cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping expenses. Buyers are advised to use trackable shipping methods as we will not be responsible for lost returns unless our prepaid label has been used.

10. Partial Refunds and Deductions

If a returned book is found to be used, damaged, or missing parts such as dust jackets or inserts, we reserve the right to issue only a partial refund or reject the return altogether. Any deductions will be fair, reasonable, and clearly communicated to the buyer.

11. Amendments and Governing Law

This Policy may be updated from time to time, and the revised version will take effect from the date of publication. This Policy is governed by the laws of India, and buyers retain all rights provided under applicable consumer protection legislation.
